Colorless transparent rhombic tabular crystal. Pure silver nitrate is stable under light. It becomes black when contacting with hydrogen sulfide and organic matters. Moist Silver nitrate is easily to become dark under light.
Used to making negative film, vacuum flask refill and mirror.
