Barium Peroxide – BaO2

White or iron grey powder. Slowly decomposed in air. Does not dissolve in water, but can slowly hydrolyzed. Forming H2O2 when react with diluted acid or water which contains CO2.
Used as hydrogen peroxide and oxygenn oxidant, bleaching agent.
